Campaign Description
The National Center for Water Efficiency and Conservation (MAEE) launched today the "Hidden Consumer" campaign aimed at raising public awareness of the damage caused by water leaks and their impact on increased consumption rates and property safety, in addition to highlighting the importance of regular leak detection and repairs to reduce water wastage. This initiative is part of MAEE's awareness programs to mitigate the effects of water leaks in buildings and promote conservation. The center emphasized that regular inspections for leaks help maintain property safety, minimize water waste, and reduce consumption. MAEE encourages the use of the "Kashf" application, which is one of the technical solutions offered to beneficiaries to connect the individuals seeking leak detection services with qualified service providers approved by the center. The app provides a comprehensive report of inspection results, while the center continuously monitors the performance of detection service providers to ensure improved service quality. It is worth noting that the National Center for Water Efficiency and Conservation (MAEE) undertakes various tasks related to enhancing water resource efficiency, as well as water production, transportation, and distribution operation and it also promotes water conservation for urban, industrial, and agricultural purposes by uniting efforts across governmental and non-governmental entities to contribute to achieving water sustainability.
