The Ministry of Economy and Planning and the National Center for Water Efficiency and Conservation (Ma'iy) signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at contributing to achieving sustainability.
The National Water Efficiency and Conservation Center (MAEE) signed a memorandum of understanding with King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center to enhance cooperation in the areas of water efficiency and conservation, achieve water and financial sustainability, and preserve national assets. The memorandum was signed by H.E. Eng. Fahad Al-Dossari, the CEO of the National Water Efficiency and Conservation Center (MAEE), while King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center was represented by Dr. Rashid Alhumaid, Assistant Executive General Supervisor. The memorandum aims to enhance mutual cooperation by activating assignments and activities related to water efficiency and conservation in the residential and health sectors, exchanging knowledge and expertise, and providing a model for cooperation among national sectors to achieve the goals of Saudi Vision 2030. The cooperation includes the exchange of information and data in relevant fields, enabling the use of water-guiding systems and technologies, providing technical support to enhance infrastructure, and improving water efficiency and conservation efforts to contribute to achieving water sustainability. According to the memorandum of understanding, the two parties will collaborate on social responsibility programs and community awareness initiatives aimed at conserving water consumption, as well as preparing studies and consulting services, organizing initiatives, and conducting joint workshops and training courses to enhance individuals' awareness in relevant fields.
