The National Water Company and the National Water Efficiency and Conservation Center "MAEE" signed a memorandum of understanding to enhance cooperation, activate the assignments and activities of water efficiency and conservation in government agencies, and exchange knowledge and experiences in this field between the two parties. The memorandum of understanding was signed by H.E. Eng. Nemer Alshebel, and H.E. Eng. Fahad Al-Dossari, the CEO of the National Water Company and the CEO of the National Water Efficiency and Conservation Center, and Eng. Alshebel explained that the memorandum of understanding aims to activate the assignments and activities of water efficiency and conservation in government agencies, in addition to collaborating to launch several national initiatives concerned with awareness and water consumption reduction. He welcomed cooperation with all entities to enable initiatives related to efficiency and awareness, and to transfer knowledge and exchange experiences. On his part, Eng. Al-Dossari stated that the memorandum will enhance cooperation between the parties to achieve fruitful strategic partnership for preserving water resources by establishing a framework for joint work and finding ways to collaborate now and in the future in areas of mutual interest. He explained that the center aims to enhance the efficiency of water supply chains in the Kingdom, conserve water consumption in urban, industrial, and agricultural uses, and unify the efforts of government and other entities in this field.
